Employee fractures ankle when caught between forklift and ra

At 12:00 p.m. on August 18, 2021, an employee working for a warehouse facility was operating a stand-up forklift in MBUSA Plant 1. The employee was backing up the forklift while staging bumper racks for production. He got off the forklift as the vehicle rolled to a stop at which time he caught his left ankle in between a rack and the rear of the forklift. The employee was hospitalized to treat a fractured ankle.
