An employee was working in a hospital when she went on vacation after July 20, 2021. While on vacation the employee began having COVID-19 symptoms on August 6, 2021. The employee tested positive for COVID-19 on August 7, 2021, and she was admitted to the hospital on August 8, 2021, for treatment of her infection.
