Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee was tested as part of the employer's routine COVID-19 testing in the workplace and also because some of the employees in the BHU unit tested positive for COVID-19. The employee was sent home when he tested positive and had mild symptoms. During his quarantine, symptoms became worse. The employee died from coronavirus disease or COVID-19 related complications on July 5, 2021.
