Event: 05/26/2021
One Employee with COVID-19 infection dies and two are hospit

Employee #1 entered the workplace on May 8, 2021 and felt very ill. Coworkers commented that Employee #1 looked ill and should go home. Employee #1 worked for approximately 30 minutes, spoke with the store manager, and after having a temperature reading of 100.5, was sent home for the day. That same day, Employee #1 was admitted to the local hospital and tested positive for COVID-19. Employee #1 was transferred to another medical center, where he remained until his death on May 26, 2021. Employee #1 worked with five coworkers from May 1-4, 2021, while experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Employees #2 and #3 tested positive for COVID-19 and were hospitalized and two other coworkers were out with symptoms but did not get tested.
