Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

At 1:00 a.m. on April 29, 2021, an employee who worked as a teacher in an educational facility (head start program) died from COVID-19. The employee's last day of work was April 9, 2011. On April 11, 2021, the employee reported developing COVID-19 related symptoms (reported as flu-like symptoms). That week she had worked with kids that were known to be ill. On April 14, 2021, she tested positive for COVID-19. On April 17, 2021, she was hospitalized where she remained until she died. Information regarding engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls for COVID-19 are not included in the narrative.
