An employee was working as an infection preventionist nurse (or infection prevention nurse or infection control nurse) at a nursing care or skilled nursing facility. She worked out of the nursing supervisor office. She performed surveillance rounds of all units, but she worked in the office 75 percent of the time. She contracted COVID-19, and she died at 8:17 p.m on April 7, 2021.
