Investigation Summary
An employee along with three coworkers gathered together in Driver Break Room while eating lunch, within six feet of each other. On Monday, February 1, 2021, the employee began exhibiting signs and symptoms of COVID-19. On Tuesday, February 2, 2021, the employee was immediately asked to self-quarantine due to a potential infection with COVID-19. The employee was tested for COVID-19 on Thursday, February 4, 2021. Two days later, on Saturday, February 6, 2021, the employee was confirmed positive for COVID-19. At approximately 11:13 a.m. on Sunday, March 7, 2021, the employee died from COVID-19, after a month-long battle with the infection.
