Investigation Summary
An employee was working with memory care residents when the facility had an outbreak of COVID-19 amongst residents. The employee provided basic daily care to residents such as dressing, showering, and other daily assistance. The employee became ill on December 30, 2020, and went to an emergency room on January 9, 2021, where she was admitted. The employee died in the intensive care unit at 8:00 a.m. on February 21, 2021.
