Employee sustains puncture wound from knife during animal pr

At 9:30 p.m. on February 3, 2021, Employee #1 was removing the first leg of an animal during processing when a reflex kick allegedly caused a self-inflicted puncture wound. The incident involved a 6-inch banana knife, resulting in a puncture wound to the employee's right thigh. Emergency services transport the employee to the hospital, where he was admitted for treatment.
