Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee was working as CT Technologist. According to the employer, a CT Technologist's job includes performing computerized tomographic (imaging) procedures for the diagnosis of diseases and injuries; services could include such as, but not limited to, transporting, prepping, and administering services for in-patients, out-patients care, and emergency room visitations. This included handling patients by moving them into the scanning room, positioning them on the table, performing service such as, but not limited to, providing contrasts, IVs, CT and MRI scans, etc; all while remaining in close contact with patients. The employee died on February 9, 2021 due to complications of COVID-19 while handling suspect and confirmed positive COVID-19 patients inside the hospital.
