Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

At 6:00 a.m. on January 26, 2021, an employee who worked in an office environment for the U.S. Government Census Bureau died from COVID-19. On December 10, 2020, the employee was sent home and on December 12, 2020, the employee was hospitalized. The employee's infection was contact traced to a wedding she attended approximately a month prior to her COVID-19 related illness.
