Investigation Summary
An employee was working as a housekeeper in a nursing home when he was exposed to COVID-19. The employee was tested for COVID-19 during weekly routine testing on November 9, 2020. On November 11, 2020, the employee's test came back positive. The employee reported to have no symptoms and was permitted to work in the COVID-19 unit on November 14, 2020. On November 18, 2020, the employee was hospitalized due to COVID-19 complications. The employee died at the hospital on December 10, 2020.
