Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee was working for a school district and was assigned to screening entrants at the central office location for COVID-19 when he became ill. The employee was initially diagnosed with the flu when he tested negative for COVID-19, then was hospitalized with pneumonia a few days later. The employee tested positive for COVID-19 in the hospital and subsequently died from his infection on January 28, 2021.
