Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee was working at a general medical or surgical hospital associated with a university. She worked as a nurse in the telemetry department. She contracted COVID-19. On January 21, 2021, she was hospitalized. On January 23, 2021, she was discharged from the hospital. Later on that same day, her father found her unresponsive. At 8:00 a.m. on January 24, 2021, she died from COVID-19.
