At 1:00 p.m. on January 26, 2021, an employee who worked as a Surveyor for the Roads Department of an engineering firm died from COVID-19. On December 30, 2020, the employee and a coworker started on a project onducting acoustic surveying of roads. The employee and coworker ride in a van (one driving and one in the passenger seat working the programming equipment) from 8 to12 hours per day. On January 16, 2021, the employee reported to his employer that he was showing COVID-19 symptoms. He quarantined at the hotel and went to get tested for COVID-19.
