Investigation Summary
On November 23, 2020, an employee was leaving for work when he received a phone call from his employer that he had tested positive for COVID-19. The employee worked for a skilled nursing facility but his occupation was not indicated in the narrative. The employee reported that he went back to bed and woke up with a fever. The employee's symptoms progressed and he began to experience difficultly breathing. The employee was admitted to the hospital the following day.
