Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

On December 1. 2020, an employee who had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for a skilled nursing facility died crom COVID-19. Prior to her death, the employee was carrying out her routine duties including but not limited to administering orally or intravenous medications and assisting with residents with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, dressing, sitting, standing, continence, and toileting. On November 29, 2020, the employee tested positive for COVID-19. November 29, 2020 was the employee's last day performing her duties. The date, time and other details leading up to exposure are not indicated in the narrative. Information regarding engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls for COVID-19 are also not included in the narrative.
