Investigation Summary
An employee worked in the Maintenance Department of a country club golf course as a Greens Keeper. The employee began to feel symptoms on January 7, 2021, and consequently called out sick between January 7, 2021 through January 11, 2021. The employee was tested for COVID-19 on January 11, 2021. On January 12, 2021, the employee died from acute respiratory illness, due to COVID-19 and other conditions related to the death but not resulting in the underlying cause included hypertension, diabetes and alcoholic liver diseases. The employee was tested again for COVID-19 during autopsy.
