Two employees were working in a skilled nursing facility when they were exposed to residents and coworkers who were infected with COVID-19. The facility housed 126 residents and had 120 employees consisting of nursing, administrative, and janitorial staff. Employee #1's last day worked was on December 13, 2020, tested positive that same day, and was hospitalized on December 21, 2020. Employee #2's last day worked was on December 15, 2020, tested positive on December 22, 2020 and was hospitalized that same day. Both employees successfully recovered from their infections.
