Investigation Summary
Four employees, two Certified Nursing Assistants and two licensed vocational nurses, were working in a nursing home when the site had a COVID-19 outbreak. Employees #1, #2, #3 worked during the two weeks prior to the onset of their symptoms and contracted COVID-19 around the time of the outbreak. Employee #1 was hospitalized and subsequently died on December 29, 2020. Employees #2 and #3 were hospitalized and then released. Employee #4 contracted COVID-19 during a different period, was hospitalized and then released.
