Investigation Summary
At approximately 3:00 p.m. on December 18, 2020, an employee worked alone in a section of the machine shop performing an activity called "seat installation." The employee's last day at work was on December 8, 2020. The employee left about 30 minutes early, at approximately 2:30 PM after informing the supervisor after not feeling well. The employee was hospitalized on December 13, 2020. The employee was tested while at the hospital on December 14, 2020, and confirmed as positive for COVID-19 the same day. The employee died on December 18, 2020, from complications of COVID-19.
