Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

At approximately 11:00 a.m. on December 18, 2020, an employee was training other employees during the implementation of EPIC (a new electronic records charting system). The employee was working with employees who were treating COVID-19 positive patients. The employee contracted the virus and died from COVID-19 as a result from the virus SARS-CoV-2.
