Investigation Summary
At approximately 5:13 p.m. on December 20, 2020, an employee worked in the laundry department and was wearing required personal protective equipment while performing regular work task such as: washing, drying, folding, placing new linens in cleaning closets and delivering clean sheets to patient room used by staff for residents. The employee contracted COVID-19, but the source is unknown. The employer provided and required the use of personal protective equipment while performing task at the facility. The employee later died from complications of the virus.
