Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee was working as a housekeeper in a general medical and surgical hospital and operated a Xenex portable UV cleaning machine in patient rooms after they were cleaned by other housekeeping employees. The employee last worked on November 7, 2020, then went on vacation and was hospitalized for COVID-19 while on vacation on November 16. On December 8, 2020, the employee died due to complications of her infection.
