Employee #1 was working in the meat department of the grocery store when he contracted COVID-19. Employee #1's last day worked was November 12, 2020, and he was hospitalized on November 15, 2020 and subsequently died due to COVID-19 complications on December 3, 2020. Employee #2 was working in the bakery department of the grocery store. Employee #2's last day worked was November 8, 2020, tested positive on November 13, 2020 and was hospitalized on November 14, 2020. The employee successfully recovered from her infection.
