Investigation Summary
An employee was working in a warehouse when he contracted COVID-19. The employer records indicated that there were no positive cases of COVID-19 seen in the building for 14 days prior to the employee becoming ill and receiving a positive test. The employee had attended a family reunion at his home seven to ten days prior to his positive diagnosis. Family that attended the reunion had come from out of state and several that attended became ill with COVID-19 afterwards. The employee died at 8:00 a.m. on November 15, 2020, from complications of his infection.
