Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

On November 30, 2020, an employee who worked in the office of a visiting nurses organization died from COVID-19. The employee began experiencing COVID-19 related symptoms and tested positive for COVID-19. The employee was hospitalized before her death. The employer did not have an effective COVID-19 Prevention Program in place.
