Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

On November 25, 2020, an employee who worked for a skilled nursing facility died from COVID-19. November 15, 2020 was the employee's last day of work. On November 21, 2020, the employee tested positive for COVID-19 and was admitted to the hospital. The employee's death was presumed to be work related due to a COVID-19 outbreak at the facility where he worked. The employer did not have an adequate Respiratory Protection Program in place.
