Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee had worked for an electronics manufacturing company. The employer has specialized in the manufacture of custom electric cable and harness assemblies for over 30 years and employs over 90 employees. On November 11, 2020, the employee tested positive for COVID-19. The employee's last day of work was November 10, 2020. The employee was not hospitalized for COVID-19 prior to his death on November 22, 2020, at his place of residence. The employer did not have an effective COVID-19 Prevention Program in place.
