Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

At approximately 11:00 a.m. on November 9, 2020, an employee worked as a Monitor Technician. The employee's job duties consisted to observe/monitor the heart rhythms and electrocardiograms (EKG) of patients in the hospital. On October 19, 2020, the employee started developing symptoms of cough and dry throat. On October 23, 2020, the employee was tested for COVID-19 and received a positive test result on October 26, 2020. The employee was admitted to the hospital on October 27, 2020, after presenting a cough and fever symptoms. The employee died on November 9, 2020.
