Investigation Summary
An employee was working as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) at a nursing care or skilled nursing facility. She was asymptomatic and working at the facility as usual. She was working with elderly residents, passing out medication, when she became short of breath. She tested positive for COVID-19. She was hospitalized. At 10:00 a.m. on November 10, 2020, she died from complications related to COVID-19.
