Event: 11/13/2020
One employee with COVID-19 infection dies and another employ

Two employees were working at a nursing care or skilled nursing facility. Employee #1 was a licensed practical nurse (LPN). He worked with residents of the facility who were positive for COVID-19. On November 2, 2020, he tested positive for COVID-19. He was sent home. He had a pre-existing health condition, and he was hospitalized at a local hospital. As of November 9, 2020, he was not in the intensive care unit (ICU). Employee #2 was a registered nurse (RN). She also worked at the facility with residents who were positive for COVID-19. She became sick, and on October 26, 2020, she was tested for COVID-19. Her results came back positive on October 28 or 29, 2020. Her symptoms worsened, and because she, too, had pre-existing conditions, she went to the hospital. She was transferred to another hospital. As of November 9, 2020, she was not in the intensive care unit (ICU). At 2:00 p.m. on November 13, 2020, she died.
