Investigation Summary
At 8:15 a.m. on October 20, 2020, an employee was using a 9 inch grinder to remove weld splatter from the surface of a 600 lb. metal housing. As the employee used the grinder to apply pressure, the housing rocked back and rested on a table away from him. When the employee released the pressure, the housing rocked back towards the employee and fell on him. He fractured his leg and was hospitalized.
