Investigation Summary
On October 17, 2020, Employee #1 and a coworker, employed by a residential remodeling company, were part of a crew working at a customer's residence. The coworker felled a tree. In falling, the tree struck Employee #1. Emergency medical services were called, and emergency dispatch gave the site employees first aid instructions. When emergency personnel arrived, they attempted without success to revive Employee #1. Employee #1, who had sustained blunt force traumatic injuries, was killed.
