Investigation Summary
An employee was working as a travelling radiology technician at a large teaching hospital taking chest X-rays of COVID-19 patients multiple times each day. The employee was provided with PPE by the hospital. The employee contracted COVID-19 and became ill so she did not work her planned shifts on August 14 and 15. On August 16, 2020, the employee was hospitalized with COVID-19. The employee's condition deteriorated, and she died on September 02, 2020.
