Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee was working as a corrections officer at a country correctional institution. He contracted COVID-19. He returned to work after testing negative for the virus. He was later hospitalized. On October 8, 2020, he died of residual lung damage from the infection. This was a late complication of a COVID-19 infection. It could not be determined whether his infection was work-related.
