Employee is killed during robbery

At 12:38 a.m. on October 1, 2020, an employee was working behind the counter as a cashier and night manager in a convenience store when a robber entered the store, displayed a handgun, and robbed the store of approximately $70.00. The robber shot the employee and fled the scene. The employee suffered a single gunshot wound to the upper chest causing death.
