Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee was working in a correctional facility as the mailroom supervisor where he collected and delivered mail throughout the facility. The facility provided mass testing for COVID-19 to employees on September 8, 2020. On September 10, 2020, the employee began to experience COVID-19 symptoms and went to the doctor. On September 12, 2020, the employee received a positive test result for COVID-19. On September 14, 2020, the employee was admitted to a local hospital, where he died at 3:30 p.m. on September 30, 2020, of COVID-19 complications.
