Investigation Summary
An employee was working as a licensed practical nurse at a senior health and rehabilitation center when she was exposed to COVID-19 while wearing an N-95 respirator during an outbreak of the virus among staff and residents that were being treated. The employee tested positive for the virus on the second day away from work due to illness, was admitted to the hospital three days later, and died on September 24, 2020, due to complications.
