Employees were engaged in routine work activities involving patient care and administrative duties at a nursing home and were exposed to known or suspected patients and coworkers infected with COVID-19. Employee #1, a charge nurse, was infected with COVID-19 and died on April 11, 2020. Employee #2, an administrative staff member, was infected with COVID-19 and died on April 19, 2020. A third employee was hospitalized with COVID-19 but survived.
