Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee was working for a food product manufacturer and was off work when he began to exhibit symptoms of COVID-19. The employee called the employer to ask what to do and was directed to not come into work and to seek medical attention. The employee tested positive for COVID-19 and was placed into quarantine in his home. At 11:45 a.m. on September 22, 2020, the employee was found dead in his home due to complications from COVID-19 infection.
