Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

At approximately 9:00 a.m. on September 5, 2020, an employee who worked as a machine operator for a poultry processing plant died from COVID-19. The employee had been off work and was driving home from visiting friends. The employee did not feel well and went to the hospital where he died. The employee's cause of death was an airway obstruction related to a congenital abnormality which was possibly complicated by COVID-19.
