Employee Falls From Scissor Lift And Is Killed

At 3:00 p.m. on August 5, 2020, an employee was operating a scissor lift (SkyJac k SJIH 3219) to access a hanging cable wire. The employee left the lift to stand on an elevated platform to better position the lift. After positioning the lift , the employee grabbed an unspecified object and walked towards the lift platfor m to grab a hanging cable wire. The employee fell approximately ten feet and was killed by blunt force trauma to unspecified body parts.
