Death from complications of COVID-19 infection

At approximately 4:30 p.m. on April 9, 2020, an employee worked as the Medical Director providing clinical oversight to addiction counseling and medication prescription to opioid-addicted patients at the clinics. The employee developed COVID-19 symptoms from an unknown source of exposure, presumed from workplace contact. Fever, fatigue, and cardiopulmonary symptoms are consistent with COVID-19 infection. The employee later died from complications from COVID-19.
