Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

At approximately 5:00 p.m. on August 12, 2020, an employee had been feeling ill and exhibiting symptoms of COVID. The employee tested positive for COVID-19 from a test taken on August 11, 2020. The employee died while at home on August 12, 2020. The employer did not know the employee was positive until August 13, 2020, at that point the employer reported her death to TOSHA via voicemail.
