Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee was working for a used car dealer. She worked in an office along with several coworkers. She became ill with COVID-19, which she likely contracted in the workplace. She began to exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 on July 12, 2020. Prior to showing symptoms, she had been working in the office. Several of her coworkers would later test positive for COVID-19. She kept working in the office prior to being admitted to the hospital on July 22, 2020. She was admitted for acute hypoxic respiratory failure. At the hospital, the employee tested positive for COVID-19. At 8:00 a.m. on August 1, 2020, she died in the hospital from hypoxic respiratory failure complicated by multi-organ system failure caused by COVID-19 viral pneumonia.
