Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

At 11:00 a.m. on August 2, 2020, an employee was caring for two patients in the patient's home. The employee was scheduled to return to work on July 25, 2020, but she informed her employer she was having COVID-19 symptoms. The employee went to the hospital the night of July 25, 2020 and received a COVID-19 test. The employee was released from the hospital the same day. The employee's test returned positive and the employee did not return to work. The two patients, the employee was caring for, also tested positive for COVID-19 shortly after. On August 3, 2020, the father of the employee called the employer to inform them that the employee had died at home on August 2, 2020. The employee was diagnosed with the coronavirus (COVID-19).
