Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee was working in a skilled nursing facility providing primary care and oversight to residents with acute behaviors. The employee's last day of work was April 5, 2020. On April 20, the employee was found dead in his home by police after a welfare check call was submitted to the local police department. On April 23, the company was notified by the county coroner that the employee tested positive for the COVID-19. The employee was terminated on April 16, after a series of no-call, no-shows between April 14, through April 16, 2020.
