Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

At 6:00 p.m. on July 15, 2020, an employee drove from McAllen TX to the Dallas TX warehouse to pick up and make a scheduled delivery of fruits and vegetables. The employee later came into the warehouse area and walked to the transportation office through the shipping and receiving area and dropped off shipping paperwork where he came into contact with several individuals who had tested positive for COVID-19. These employees worked in the shipping and receiving areas and the transportation department. On July 5, 2020, the employee started having symptoms of COVID-19 and went to seek treatment. Only July 6, 2020, the employee tested positive for COVID-19 and was hospitalized on July 12, 2020 and later died on July 15, 2020.
