FELL WHILE WORKING ON OPEN-SIDED FLOOR

EMPLOYEE WAS WORKING OUTSIDE OF THE GUARD RAILS AT THE EDGE OF AN OPEN-SIDED FLOOR (8' 6" WIDE AND 46 FEET HIGH). THE EMPLOYEE WAS CUTTING 1/2 INCH STEEL REBARS FROM A CONCRETE SLAB. THE EMPLOYEE CUT THE STEEL REBAR FROM THE CONCRETE SLAB AND APPARENTLY ALSO FROM THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING.
